A unique honors program in mathematics and science is being operated in the junior high. The project of the Director of Science and Technology at the Ministry of Education, aims to bring a broad layer of outstanding to students in the fields of science and technology. The program is implemented in approximately 200 selected schools throughout the country. 7th-10th graders who chose to participate in the program and were found to be suitable, study extra hours in math and physics. The learning includes enrichment and experiential studies and develop a high-order mathematical thinking ability. Students who choose to continue the program in grades 11-12 are studying for a high-quality science matriculation that includes mathematics and two other sciences in the scope of five units.
