Since 2017, the compulsory studies in history have been held at the school as part of the Tamar program – the test conversion program, in which, instead of a matriculation exam in history, the students write a collection of papers over three years.
The contents studied as part of the program are parallel to the study materials for the compulsory units in history, but the autonomous school emphasis on subjects that it finds particularly interesting or important from an educational or value point of view. A special emphasis is also placed on learning skills such as reading and analyzing primary sources of various types (textual and visual sources), cross-referencing and processing sources, reading various literary works, and more.
