We are excited to to offer our students Pelech’s excellent program in the Humanities. The students study canonical texts with their peers. They develop their critical thinking and writing skills and receive continuous feedback from professional teachers. The program is inspired by the Great Books and is adapted to teaching Jewish feminist students. All teachers in the program are experts in the humanities and are knowledgeable in philosophy, literature, classics, Jewish thought, art history and more. The humanities program in Pelech is has inspired schools nationwide and is part of a growing movement to encourage teens to connect and relate to cultural foundation stones. The humanities program goes hand in hand with Pelech’s vision to educate its students towards a love and understanding of Torah and Mitzvot through the broadest curriculum integrating high level Jewish and general studies.
